‘Behind the Wall.’

by Frederik Valdemar Kjeldgaard

Under the trump administration, a number of austerity measures have been installed to reduce immigration.

In general the US government has displayed a very negative view towards their neighboring countries, Cuba and Mexico; which sets the bar for how these countries are perceived in the western world.

Cuba and Mexico each have their own problems, which is not to be neglected, but this is not about them.

This series seeks to explore the everyday life in these two countries, with the focus on the everyday people.

Not the gangster or the oppressor, but the people of the primary population who are only striving for a better life.
